Mrs. White's Corner
Hello Information Seekers!!!

I’m very excited to have the opportunity to teach Information Literacy Skills to our Cimarron Elementary Students. This is my 7th year at our school. I love to read books (I’ve read over 200 books so far this year).  I’m also always looking for new and exciting resources, information and technology for our students and library. I keep busy investigating websites that I think students and teachers might like or learn from.  I like reading on my Kindle, although nothing beats cracking the spine on a brand new, hard-bound book.  Every time I hear that sound, it’s my clue that a new adventure is about to begin.  In my free time, I like to go to movies or for a walk in my neighborhood with my new poodle puppy (even though she’s kinda crazy!). This summer, I visited Atlanta, Georgia and saw where Martin Luther King Jr. grew up.  If you want to read about Martin Luther King Jr., our library has 61 books about him. Three of my favorites are:  I Have A Dream, Martin’s Big Words and My Brother Martin.
I am looking forward to another great year!  Happy Reading!

Mrs. Pat White
