The Cherry Creek School District Recognizes Cimarron

We are so proud of this prestigious honor and we recognize that this accomplishment is a result of hard work and dedication from students, teachers, and parents.  It takes a team to educate a child! Cimarron families, students, and educators, you are an important member of that team.

Every school in Colorado receives a state report called the SPF (School Performance Framework).  This report uses state test results to determine strengths and weaknesses.  The results are color-coded with red = does not meet, yellow = approaching, green = meets, blue = exceeds.  Back in 2010, our SPF had a lot of red and yellow categories.  Over the past five years, Cimarron has eliminated the red and yellow ratings and we have increased our green and blue categories significantly!

According to the most recent state tests, Cimarron students out-performed the state average for all subjects: reading, math, science, and social studies.  Cimarron moved up from the 34th percentile range to 77% percentile range in the state of Colorado.

We are committed to continued growth and strive to be the very best we can be!
